Summer Camp 2008 begins the last week of June! 2008 forms coming soon.
Jamaica Bay Riding Camp is a truly unique adventure! Horseback riding is a very special sport in which the experience of developing a relationship with a horse is truly remarkable. Throughout the summer, children learn to respect and discipline horses, and most importantly, enjoy the horse world.
Our weekly riding schedule includes basic group lessons, trail riding, beach riding, and fun and games on horseback. Basic animal care, washing and grooming, stall bedding, feeding and education on equipment and their uses will also be covered. Mid-day, our campers take a break and have lunch in our air-conditioned lounge. Occasionally, campers will eat lunch outdoors, on our patio. Extra fun includes arts and crafts, water games, volleyball, scavenger hunts and horsemanship-related classroom activities.
The camp day begins at 10AM and finishes at 3PM. Early drop off and/or late pick up can be arranged. All children must have a riding helmet. We also recommend basic riding apparel, available in our tack shop.
Weekly sessions are $440, and must be paid to hold bookings. For monthly sessions, a 5% discount is applied. A full two month summer receives a 10% discount. Please contact our office for more information about camp and to reserve your spot at Jamaica Bay Riding Camp.

Birthday Parties
Private birthday parties are also available. Children under the age of ten have pony rides for approximately 45 minutes, followed by lunch with a choice of hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, french fries and soda. Total party time is approximately 1.5 hours.
Children over the age of 11 can go on a 30 minute trail ride with a minimum of 12 friends, accompanied by trail guides. Lunch also follows trail ride parties, with the same meal choices written above. Total party time is 1.5 hours.
Additionally, a menu can be arranged for parents. No outside food please.
