Jamaica Bay Riding Academy is proud to present The Metropolitan Equestrian Team competing under the Interscholastic Equestrian Association. The formation of this team will bring opportunity to students to compete both locally and nationally. It is to introduce students in private and public middle and high schools (grades 6-12) to equestrian sports, to provide information concerning the creation and development of school associated equestrian programs, to develop understanding and appreciation of equestrian sports through organized student competitions, to provide students with organized competitive events and to provide additional equine educational opportunities. Riders do not need a horse to participate on the team.
